4. Tap Personal Account Information present under the Account Section.

5. Tap Account Ownership and Control at the bottom.

6. Tap Deactivation and deletion option.

8. Select the reason due to which you wanted to delete Facebook account and then Tap on Continue to Account Deletion.

9. Here, if you want to download your Facebook account data such as pictures, videos, posts, etc. then Tap on Download Info button. Otherwise proceed to delete the Facebook account by tapping on Delete Account button.

10. In the last step, the Facebook app will ask you to enter your current password for the Facebook account that you want to delete. Enter Current Facebook Password in the requested field and tap on Continue button to finish the process of deleting Facebook account.

Note: Once an account has been deleted, then there is a time period of 30 days during which if you change your mind and want to retrieve your deleted account then you can do so by cancelling your account deletion request.
